After being granted BAFL associate membership in July 2006, the Revolution made an immediate statement. Their debut match ended in a 30–6 victory over the Lincolnshire Bombers, followed by dominant performances against the Leicester Falcons. A successful first season led to full league membership for 2007, firmly establishing the club in British American Football.
A historic 13–0 season saw the Revolution crowned NFC 2 South champions. Victory over the Glasgow Tigers in the Division Two Bowl secured promotion to Division 1.
After winning the NFC West Division 2 with an 8–0 record, the Revolution advanced through the playoffs to reach the 2023 Division 2 Britbowl Final — marking their eighth playoff qualification.
The club expanded its pathway with the launch of a junior flag programme and the creation of the Shropshire Revolution Academy. Designed to develop young athletes and grow the sport locally, the Academy marks a major investment in the future of American Football in Shropshire.
Competing in BAFA NFC 1 Midlands, the Revolution continues to grow both on and off the field. With a strengthened senior programme, an expanding Academy, and ambitions for Premiership promotion, the club is entering its most ambitious era yet.
